NEPSE LIVE (“the app”) provides Nepal Stock Exchange market data, charts, news, and optional alerts. This policy describes what the app collects and how it is used.
Data we collect
On your device (local only)
- Watchlist — stock symbols you star are stored on your device.
- Notification preferences — your on/off choices for alert categories.
- Cache — API responses cached locally for faster loading and offline viewing.
- Alert state — last known prices and blog dates used to detect changes for notifications.
This data stays on your device unless you uninstall the app.
Sent to our servers
When you use the app, it requests market data from our API (youthsforum.com/live-share-market-nepse/mobile-api). Requests may include:
- Standard HTTP headers (e.g.
User-Agent,X-Nepse-Client) - Search queries when you search for stocks
- Stock symbols when you open a detail page
We do not require an account, email, phone number, or payment information to use the app.
What we do not collect
- Location
- Contacts or photos
- Advertising identifiers for third-party ad networks (the app shows no ads)
Notifications
If you enable notifications, the app uses your device’s local notification system. No push notification tokens are sent to our servers for remote push; alerts are generated on-device from polled market data.
Third parties
Market data is sourced from Nepal Stock Exchange and related feeds via our backend. Third-party hosting (e.g. Cloudflare) may process HTTP traffic according to their policies.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
