AutoNxt co-founders unveiled India’s first electric tractor
AutoNxt Electric Tractor X45H2 is the first electric tractor in India inaugurated on August 15, 2024, on 78th Independence Day.
The AutoNxt team including the founder and CEO, Kaushtubh Dhonde, Advisor and Board member, Swadeep Pillarsetti, and Board of Director and senior advisor, I.V. Rao were the pillars behind this innovation towards the agriculture sector.
Introduction to AutoNxt Electric Tractor
AutoNxt Automation was established to build electric vehicles. This eco-friendly 45 HP Tractor matches the performance and power of traditional diesel tractors (35-55 HP). This tractor is perfect for farming and haulage activities as it is sustainable for modern activities. The main focus of this tractor is reducing the cost of farming.
Motor and Battery
AutoNxt electric tractor X45H2 has a 32KW of power and a 35KWh battery. This will work 8 hours long. Features like Crop Health Analysis are used in this machine and are operated with hydraulics and automated steering. The battery is based on a smart swappable module capable of sustaining in high torque rugged conditions that a tractor goes through. A smart swappable module-based battery is integrated that can handle high torque rugged conditions.
This tractor is offering two different charging options. It can be charged by connecting it to a household socket (15A). The battery can take 3 hours to get fully charged. It has a major advantage that this tractor is peaceful as it doesn’t make any noise like other diesel tractors.
