Various car brands have showcased their electric and petrol-powered vehicles, ranging from NPR 1.96 million to NPR 17 million. The show attracts many visitors who admire high-end cars and those looking to purchase more budget-friendly vehicles.
This year, the NADA Auto Show features several new budget-friendly electric vehicles under 30 Lakhs, including the Dongfeng Nami E1, Halmarch HEV 300, KEI E-Cute 04, and the Beijing Automobile Works (BAW) Brumby EV.
List of Electric Vehicles Under 30 Lakhs NPR
BAW Brumby
LLR Motors introduced Brumby in Nepal, a five-door electric hatchback from Beijing Automobile Works (BAW). In the NADA AutoShow, the Price of Brumby is set to NPR 29 Lakhs 10 thousand. According to the company, the Brumby is designed for four passengers and is powered by a 17.28 kWh battery, offering a range of up to 205 kilometres on a full charge.
Key Features of the Brumby include a peak power of 30 kW and a rated power of 15 kW. The car measures 3,532 mm in length, 1,498 mm in width, and 1,605 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,275 mm. It features a rear-wheel drive motor, disc brakes at the front, and drum brakes at the rear.
Inside, the Brumby comes with a dual-colour interior, a 10.25-inch intelligent display, parking radar, a 360-degree camera, and several high-tech safety functions.
KEI E-Cute 04
Another model launched at the NADA Auto Show is the KEI E-Cute 04, by Laxmi E-Mobility. The E-Cute 04 is a compact car with 3,695 mm in length, 1,685 mm in width, 1,615 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,500 mm. It also features a ground clearance of 165 mm.
The E-Cute 04 is equipped with a 40 kW motor and a 28.08 kWh battery pack, certified to deliver a range of up to 301 kilometres. The vehicle supports fast charging, allowing it to charge from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes.
The E-Cute 04 includes features such as dual front airbags, front and rear parking sensors, an around-view monitor, auto-hold, ABS, EBD, ESC, ESP, DCA, a 6.7-inch instrument cluster, a central LCD screen, six speakers, a column gear selector, a multifunctional steering wheel, flush door handles, and keyless entry. It is available in pink, blue, and white colour options. At the NADA AutoShow, the E-Cute 04 is priced at NPR 24.96 Lakhs. The company has also showcased a three-door option of the E-Cute.
Halmarch HEV 300
The Halmarch HEV 300, launched at the NADA Auto Show, is another affordable EV option. Previously known for selling mini cars, S-Cube Enterprises has introduced the HEV 300, priced at NPR 28 Lakhs. However, the company currently offers it at a discounted booking price of NPR 25 Lakhs 95 thousand as part of the NADA Auto Show promotion.
The HEV 300 has a length of 3,750 mm, a width of 1,655 mm, a height of 1,550 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,415 mm. It is powered by a 35 kW motor and a 32.56 kWh battery pack, which provides a range of up to 335 kilometres on a full charge.
The HEV 300 comes with front disc brakes, rear drum brakes, 15-inch wheels, and a ground clearance of 175 mm. It includes features such as electric power steering, dual airbags, parking sensors, a reverse camera, hill-hold assist, air conditioning, PU leather seat covers, a 12.8-inch LCD screen, four speakers, power windows, electrically adjustable ORVMs, heated side mirrors, keyless entry, lens front headlights, and more.
Dongfeng Nami E1
Dongfeng Motors Nami brand has been a highlight at the NADA Auto Show. Presented by MAW Vriddhi, the Nami E1 stands out with its sleek exterior design and premium interior materials. The price of the Nami E1 variant is set to NPR 29.99 Lakhs.
The Nami E1 is a larger hatchback with 4,030 mm in length, 1,810 mm in width, 1,570 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,660 mm. It features front and rear disc brakes, 16-inch wheels, and a ground clearance of 176 mm.
Equipped with a 31.4 kWh battery pack, the Nami E1 has a WLTP range of 237 kilometres. It also includes a 70 kW electric motor. Other features include a multifunctional steering wheel, dual airbags, ABS, EBD, hill assist, ESC, brake assist, traction control, air conditioning, multiple drive modes, frameless doors, a 5-inch LCD instrument cluster, front armrest, automatic headlights, LED DRLs, and power windows.
