The Chinese automaker Geely, has made its debut in the Nepali market by launching the ZEEKR X Electric SUV. The Zeekr X model was unveiled at the NADA Auto Show 2024, showing the brand’s commitment to bringing cutting-edge electric vehicles to Nepal.
Variants
Pioneer MotoCorp, a part of the Sharda Group, has introduced the Zeekr X in two variants: Two-Wheel Drive (2WD) and Four-Wheel Drive (4WD). During the NADA Auto Show, the company offered a discount of NPR 10 Lakhs on both models.
Price of ZEEKR X Electric
The Two-Wheel Drive (2WD) variant of the Zeekr X is priced at NPR 7,999,000, which is lower than its initial price of NPR 8,999,000. Meanwhile, the Four-Wheel Drive (4WD) version is priced at NPR 14,900,000. The difference in pricing between the two variants is due to the difference in motor power.
Performance and Specifications
The ZEEKR X 2WD is equipped with a 200 kW electric motor, while the 4WD version contains a more powerful 315 kW electric motor. Both variants feature a 66 kWh battery pack, which provides a range of up to 440 kilometres on a single charge, making it suitable for long drives.
For charging, the Zeekr X supports a 22 kW AC charger, which can fully charge the vehicle in about 4 hours. It also supports a DC fast charger with a capacity of up to 150 kW for reducing charging time for longer trips.
