CAN Infotech 2024 to begin from 25th Magh

The CAN Infotech for this year is scheduled from Magh 25th. Computer Association Nepal (CAN) convened a press conference on Thursday to provide insights into the upcoming fair.
CAN Infotech is slated from Magh 25th to Magh 29th at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu. According to Chiranjivi Adhikari, the general secretary of the federation, preparations for the grand CAN Infotech 2024, the country’s largest IT exhibition organized by CAN Federation, are in their concluding phase. During the Thursday press conference, he announced, “CAN Infotech will feature a special exhibition showcasing the latest advancements in information and communication technology, along with in-depth discussions among stakeholders.”
The 29th CAN Infotech proudly presents S Power Pvt. Ltd as the title sponsor, with Lord Buddha Education Foundation as the platinum sponsor, Nepal Telecom as the diamond sponsor, and Info Developers along with Mercantile Office System Pvt Ltd as the gold sponsors.
EarnSikka joins as a silver sponsor, while Esewa Pvt. Ltd takes on the role of the exhibition’s ticketing partner. Dish Media Pvt. Ltd serves as the internet partner, IGI Prudential Insurance Pvt. Ltd as the insurance partner, Broadway Infosys Pvt. Ltd as the training partner, and Deluxe Radio Service as the digital display partner. Patan College for Professional Studies (PCPS College) contributes as the education partner. Fair tickets are available for purchase via Esewa, with a fixed fee of Rs.100 for the general public and a discounted rate of Rs.50 for students.
As per the event organizer, the beta version of the ‘Kanchi’ generative AI system, a Nepali-developed robot, will debut at CAN Infotech this year. Furthermore, the CAN Federation has revealed plans for a cybersecurity help desk in collaboration with NPcert and CSRI.
