With a mission to empower women and girls in the digital landscape, TBAN is set to host an online blogging competition titled “Empowering Girls in ICT.”
This groundbreaking competition invites women and girls residing in Nepal to explore pivotal themes surrounding cybersecurity and digital safety through the lens of blogging. Participants will have the opportunity to delve into critical topics, including Data Breach Practices and Readiness in Nepalese Organizations, Cybersecurity for Remote Work, and Cyber Safety for Girls: Empowering Young Women to Navigate the Digital World Safely.
In a bid to encourage creativity and originality, entrants are required to submit authentic works, with plagiarism grounds for disqualification. Blog entries should span between 600 and 1500 words and may incorporate multimedia elements such as images or videos, provided they adhere to copyright regulations. Submissions must be made in PDF or Word document format by April 24, 2024, at 10 p.m.
The competition promises an array of enticing rewards for the top five winners, including coveted internships at esteemed partner companies, complimentary enrollment in a 30-hour cybersecurity workshop, exclusive discounts on courses and web hosting packages, and the prestigious opportunity for their articles to be published on esteemed blogging partner websites.

This competition is exclusively open to women and girls residing in Nepal.
Rules: All blog entries must be original work; any instance of plagiarism will result in disqualification. Entries should be between 600 and 1500 words in length. Participants are encouraged to include images or videos in their blogs, ensuring they are not copyrighted.
Proofreading and spellchecking are essential before submission.
