Federation Empowers Women Entrepreneurship Through AI: Over 90 Entrepreneurs Participate Nationwide

The Women Entrepreneurs Development Committee under the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has completed a basic training on Artificial Intelligence (AI) for women entrepreneurs. More than 90 women entrepreneurs from across the country participated in the training, which was held virtually.
The training was organized with the objective of familiarizing women entrepreneurs with the latest technology and enabling them to effectively use AI in business operations, management, marketing, and business expansion.
During the training, conducted in collaboration with Bhoogolpark AI Solutions, participants were informed and practiced on basic concepts of AI, its application in business, content creation, digital marketing, business information collection, and its use in other practical areas.
At the program, FNCCI President Anjan Shrestha stated that the use of innovative technologies including AI significantly contributes to enhancing effectiveness and competitive capacity in entrepreneurship and business operations.
Stating that FNCCI has a large and nationwide network of women entrepreneurs, he emphasized the need for women entrepreneurs to make themselves more capable and competitive by adopting new technologies, knowledge, and skills appropriate for the times.

President Shrestha stated that knowledge and use of technology are becoming a crucial foundation for business development and enhancement of competitive capacity, urging participating women entrepreneurs to make their businesses more organized and effective through the use of new technology.
Similarly, FNCCI Senior Vice President Surkrishna Vaidya stated that such trainings are important for enhancing the capacity of women entrepreneurs and making businesses technology-friendly. Urging them to apply the knowledge gained from the training in practice, he also announced that ‘Koseli Ghars’ (gift houses/emporiums) will be gradually established in all seven provinces, including Kathmandu, with the aim of assisting in the marketing of products made by women entrepreneurs.
At the beginning of the program, Sunita Nhemafuki, President of the Women Entrepreneurs Development Committee, delivered a welcome address, stating that as the use of technology and AI is rapidly growing in the business sector, it is essential to familiarize women entrepreneurs with new technologies.
She stated that women entrepreneurs’ capacity should be enhanced through the use of technology, from the initial stage of enterprise operation to product quality, marketing, and business expansion.
The Women Entrepreneurs Development Committee has stated that knowledge, skill, and technology-based programs will be continued in the coming days with the aim of developing women entrepreneurship, enhancing the capacity of women entrepreneurs, and making businesses technology-friendly.
