IME Group has announced that it will provide support worth 100 million rupees (10 crore rupees) to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund for the search, rescue, immediate relief, and rehabilitation of citizens affected by the devastating flood in the Bhote Koshi River.
This support will be made available through IME Group and companies promoted by the Group—Global IME Bank, IME Limited, IME Life Insurance, IGI Prudential Insurance, Chandragiri Hills, DishHome, IME Motors and partner company Ashok Leyland, IME Khalti, Swift Technology, Midas Health, Mymart, Lumbini Cable Car, IME Foundation, and other companies.
Similarly, the Group has announced that an amount equivalent to one day’s salary will also be provided by the employees working in companies under IME Group.
Furthermore, IME has provided free remittance services for sending aid money to Nepal from all over the world, and has also arranged for direct free deposits to the government fund through Khalti White IME Mobile Wallet. Additionally, a commitment has been made to provide further relief and in-kind assistance in coordination with the IME Foundation.

IME Group has stated that it is providing this support under its corporate social responsibility with the aim of assisting in the search for the missing, treatment of the injured, providing food for the affected, and rebuilding damaged structures in this unimaginable disaster.
Additionally, while extending heartfelt condolences to the citizens who lost their lives in the devastating flood and deep sympathy to the bereaved families, it has also expressed sincere gratitude to the security personnel, volunteers, local communities, and concerned bodies who have been working tirelessly in rescue, relief, and rehabilitation efforts during this sensitive time.
