IRD Incentive Program Facility Available on Kumari Bank’s Mobile Banking App
September 1, Kathmandu.
Kumari Bank Limited has made available the IRD Incentive Program facility on its mobile banking app with the aim of supporting the taxpayer incentive program of the Government of Nepal and the Inland Revenue Department.
Launched through the budget of the fiscal year 2083/84, this program aims to encourage consumers to obtain PAN and VAT bills, as well as promote digital payments, tax compliance, and financial transparency.
Through this facility, Kumari Bank customers in Nepal will automatically be eligible for a prize scheme when they purchase goods or services worth more than Rs. 100 for personal use and make payments via the merchant’s QR Merchant QR.
Customers can easily view the number of eligible transactions, transaction details, and the status of awards received through the IRD Incentive Program menu of the Kumari Smart Savings Mobile Banking app.
This is expected to play a significant role in encouraging customers to make digital payments, obtain PAN and VAT bills, and promote formal transactions.
