Nepal’s largest automobile exhibition, ‘NADA Auto Show 2026,’ concluded on Sunday.
The 18th edition of the show, organized on the occasion of the 50th Golden Jubilee of NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal, presented new vehicles, electric technology, financial facilities, and new possibilities seen in the Nepali automobile market in one place.
In the show held from Bhadra 9 to 14 at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu, vehicles, auto parts, tires, lubricants, financial services, and other automobile-related products and services were displayed in more than 200 stalls.
According to NADA, this year’s exhibition saw the participation of 25 passenger vehicles, 17 light commercial vehicles, 13 two-wheeler brands, and 15 banks, financial institutions, and insurance service providers.
The main attractions of the show were new models of four-wheelers and two-wheelers. Various brands unveiled and displayed new models for the first time in Nepal.
In the exhibition, which had a significant presence of electric vehicles, new generation EVs, motorcycles, and scooters, along with locally produced and assembled materials, also attracted consumer attention. New models from brands like BYD, Tata, Deepal, Nami, Avtar, Jeiku, Chery, Dongfeng, etc., were attractions of the show.
Along with vehicle sales at the auto show, competition for auto loans was seen among banks and financial institutions. Banks launched various offers, including low interest rates, service charge discounts, and premium discounts on interest rates, to attract consumers. Some banks introduced special loan facilities and low-interest rate plans for electric vehicles.
This year’s auto show was organized amidst the pain of floods and landslides. During the show’s operation, severe loss of life and property occurred due to floods and landslides in river systems like Bhotekoshi and Trishuli.
NADA stated that the continuation of the auto show even in such circumstances was the result of the support and trust of industrialists-businessmen, participating companies, media, and the general public.

NADA President Surendra Kumar Upreti said that although the feeling of pain outweighed that of celebration due to the disaster, life cannot always stop in one place. “Disasters can weaken us.
But they cannot weaken our resolve,” said President Upreti. “It was with this belief that we continued the auto show. Despite the difficult circumstances, the support, goodwill, and trust shown by all parties towards the auto show have made us stronger.”
He stated that the auto show is not just a venue for selling vehicles, but also an important platform for discussing the future of Nepal’s automobile and mobility sector, showcasing new technologies, and connecting various aspects of the industry on a single platform.
NADA also prioritized the concept of ‘From Industry to Employment’ in this year’s show.
These are the Top Five Stalls of NADA Auto Show
The title of ‘Best Stall’ at NADA Auto Show 2026 has been awarded in five different categories. For four-wheeler passenger cars, BYD of Cimex Inc. Pvt. Ltd. received the ‘Best Stall’ award.
Similarly, for two-wheelers, Yamaha (YAMAHA) of MAW Rides Pvt. Ltd., and for commercial four-wheelers, Digo, sold by NEV Nepal Pvt. Ltd., received the ‘Best Stall’ award.
Similarly, in the auto components category, Michelin Tire presented by Sipradi Autoparts Pvt. Ltd., and in the banks and financial institutions category, Machhapuchchhre Bank’s stall was declared the best.
To select the best stalls, NADA had formed a three-member committee including representatives from the relevant sectors.
