Sipradi Trading Pvt. Ltd., the official distributor of Tata Motors for Nepal, has launched the new ‘Punch EV’ (Punch.ev) and new ‘Tiago EV’ (Tiago.ev) at the ongoing ‘Naima Nepal Mobility Expo 2026’ at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu.
The starting price of the new Punch EV has been set at 3,399,000 rupees. However, customers who book during the expo period can purchase it for 3,299,000 rupees under a special offer.
Similarly, the starting price of the new Tiago EV is 2,899,000 rupees. For customers booking both these vehicles at the expo, the company has provided an extended warranty facility of up to 11 years or 220,000 kilometers.
Speaking at the vehicle launch event, Rajan Babu Shrestha, Chief Executive Officer of Sipradi Trading Pvt. Ltd., said, ‘We are committed to bringing electric vehicles with the latest technology to Nepal. The launch of the new Punch EV and Tiago EV in the Nepali market further confirms our commitment.’ He informed that both vehicles have been developed to meet the needs of different customers.

Sipradi has also stated that it is emphasizing the development of necessary infrastructure along with the expansion of the EV network. Rajesh Prasad Giri, Chief Operating Officer of Sipradi Trading, clarified that the network of associated services is being expanded along with EV sales. ‘Our commitment to electric vehicles is not limited to vehicle sales alone. To give customers more confidence and ease in using EVs, we are also investing in building strong infrastructure. Currently, more than 21 EV service centers, 40 DC charging points, and more than 150 AC charging points are operational.’
New Punch EV: A More Powerful and Technologically Advanced SUV
Based on the state-of-the-art ‘Act.ev’ platform, the new Punch EV offers two battery options with capacities of 32 kWh and 40 kWh, which provide a range of 300 to 325 kilometers on a single full charge according to tests conducted on Nepalese roads.
This model includes 195 mm high ground clearance, BNCAP 5-star safety rating, 6 airbags, a 360-degree camera, 1.5 CDC fast charging, voice-activated sunroof, 26.03 cm Harman infotainment and digital cockpit, ventilated seats, and 366 liters of boot space.

Designed to facilitate daily commutes, the new Tiago EV features new looks, attractive colors, a 360-degree HD camera system, 26.03 cm infotainment, and safety features such as 6 airbags.
