Organizations affiliated with BLC Global Holdings have handed over NRs 33.67 million in assistance to the government to facilitate relief and reconstruction in the flood-affected areas of Bhote Koshi, Rasuwa.
A total of NRs 33.67 million was handed over, with contributions including NRs one crore each from affiliated organizations such as Norvic International Hospital, BLC Global Logistic, and Nepal Distilleries.
On Wednesday, Megha Chaudhary, Co-Chairperson of the Holdings and Director of Norvic, along with Rajendra Bahadur Singh, Chairman of Norvic, Ajay Kumar Mishra, CEO, and Sharad Tibrewal of Nepal Distilleries, met Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle and handed over a check for the assistance amount.
While handing over the assistance amount, Megha Chaudhary, Co-Chairperson of the Holdings and Director of Norvic, stated that they have donated more than NRs 30 million to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund to facilitate the relief and reconstruction efforts carried out by the government during the disaster.

She said, ‘Even though this assistance amount itself is not very large, we believe this amount will be effectively utilized for the rehabilitation of flood-affected families.’ She also stated that all organizations affiliated with the Holdings are committed to cooperating with the government during this challenging situation. She also expressed respect for all organizations and individuals involved in rescue, relief, and rehabilitation.
During this occasion, BLC Global Holdings expressed condolences to those who lost their lives in the flood, extended sympathy to the bereaved families, and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
Basant Chaudhary, founder of BLC Holdings, had announced last Saturday that he would donate NRs 30 million for the rescue and rehabilitation of flood victims. In accordance with that announcement, NRs 33.67 million has been donated by organizations affiliated with the Holdings.
