Hamro Patro users have collectively contributed NPR 1.25 crore to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund. This amount was raised with the objective of assisting in the relief, rehabilitation, and reconstruction of families and communities affected by the recent devastating disaster in Nepal.
On behalf of the Hamro Patro community, the donation was formally handed over to the Honorable Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle.
Along with the donation, the list of all contributors to this campaign has also been submitted to the government. This is expected to document the contribution of each donor and recognize the support as a collective contribution from the Hamro Patro community.
Hamro Patro facilitated this campaign with the aim of enabling Nepalis living abroad to easily contribute to the national relief effort. Arrangements were made to ensure that the entire contribution from users reached the relief fund without any service charges being deducted when sending the funds.
