OPPO has officially launched the Reno 16 and Reno 16 F 5G in Nepal, with prices starting from Rs. 89,999. OPPO has officially launched its new Reno 16 series in Nepal. The series includes the OPPO Reno 16 and Reno 16 F. These smartphones were unveiled through a grand fashion show that presented technology, fashion, and modern lifestyle together.
At the launch event, Miss Nepal World 2022 and former Beauty with a Purpose winner (Asia & Oceania) Priyanka Rani Joshi, Gadgetbyte Nepal’s CEO and head of Nepal’s No. 1 tech channel Pratima Adhikari, and Nepal’s first and No. 1 female moto vlogger Suraksha KC presented various features and usage experiences of the Reno 16 series. They showcased the Reno 16 series from the perspective of real-life usage and active lifestyles.
Along with the Reno 16 series, OPPO also launched the OPPO Bubble. This is a magnetic accessory that functions as a rear camera preview screen and a remote shutter, while also offering the convenience of displaying personal content on its screen.
The company stated that the OPPO Bubble, with a maximum retail price of Rs. 15,999, will be available at a special price of Rs. 9,999 during the promotional period. This offer will be subject to specified terms and conditions.
The Reno 16 series uses OPPO’s 3D Pop Planet design. The company claims that its Pop White variant includes the industry’s first Holoverse 3D technology, which provides an attractive floating visual effect on the phone. The Reno 16 features a compact 6.32-inch display, while the Reno 16 F includes a larger 6.57-inch display.
For photography, both models feature a 50-megapixel ultra-wide selfie camera with a 100-degree wide angle. Additionally, a triple rear camera setup with Optical Image Stabilization, a telephoto portrait camera with approximately 3.5x optical zoom capability, and an ultra-wide camera are included.
To make the photography and video experience more creative, features such as Pop Cam, AI Remix Collage, Popout Collage 2.0, 4K Auto Straighten Video, and Dual View Video 2.0 are also available.

The Reno 16 series, running on ColorOS 16, includes artificial intelligence-based features such as AI Snap Key, AI Mind Space, AI Mind Pilot, and AI Menu Translation.
The Reno 16 has a 6,700 mAh battery, and the Reno 16 F has a 7,000 mAh battery. Both models support 80W SuperVOOC fast charging. The Reno 16 uses the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 mobile platform.
The series features AI LinkBoost 4.0, along with IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for water and dust protection. Splash Touch and Glove Touch features are also available for easy use in various situations.
In Nepal, the price of Reno 16 5G is set at Rs. 109,999, and the Reno 16 F 5G at Rs. 89,999. Both phones will be available in Pop White and Twilight Violet colors through OPPO’s official retail channels.
The company has also announced various offers for customers. The first 500 customers who purchase a Reno 16 F or Reno 16 will receive OPPO Airbuds A3 Pro for free.
Additionally, the company stated that customers will receive a complete phone replacement facility and an extra two-month after-sales service warranty if the phone cannot be repaired, along with the OPPO Bubble, valued at Rs. 15,999, available for Rs. 9,999.
