27 Bhadra, Kathmandu.

Private and Boarding Schools’ Organization Nepal (PABSON) has contributed 12 crore rupees to the Nepal Government’s Disaster Relief Fund for the relief and rehabilitation of citizens affected by floods and disasters in areas including Rasuwa and Nuwakot.

According to Krishna Adhikari, the Central President of PABSON, the collected amount from over 6,500 member schools across the country has been handed over to the government. PABSON, with a history of approximately 33 years, decided to contribute 12 crore rupees with the aim of assisting the nation during the time of disaster.

Adhikari stated that member schools enthusiastically contributed while managing their regular operating expenses, teacher-staff liabilities, and taxes payable to the state. He informed that more funds were collected than expected, and the details of the contribution have been made transparent.

PABSON stated that the details of the collected assistance have been sent from the respective districts to the provinces and the center, and its overall report will also be provided to the government. President Adhikari mentioned that arrangements would be made to provide certificates of appreciation for their contributions to each assisting school and institution, in collaboration with the government.
