NAS-IT connects Nepali IT companies with the international market, Tech Roadshow concluded in Switzerland

October 4, Kathmandu.

‘Nepal Tech Roadshow Switzerland 2026’ has been concluded, organized by the Nepal Association for Software and IT Services Companies (NAS-IT) in collaboration with the Swiss Nepal Chamber of Commerce (SNCC).

At the event held in Zurich, Switzerland on September 16, discussions were held between businessmen, technology sector representatives, investors, and stakeholders from Nepal and Switzerland on the potential of the Nepali IT industry and international cooperation.

At the event, Nepal’s growing ICT sector, skilled workforce, digital innovation, IT export, and Nepal’s capacity and expertise in the areas of Artificial Intelligence (AI), software development, cyber security, cloud services, data engineering, and digital transformation were presented.

Dipen Chapagain, President of NAS-IT, stated that the Nepali IT industry should present its capabilities in the international market and expand new business opportunities and collaborations. He added that the roadshow was organized with the aim of bringing the services and technology solutions of Nepali IT companies to the global market.

At the event, the Swiss Nepal Chamber of Commerce provided information about Nepal-Switzerland trade and technology relations and the possibilities of cooperation between Nepali IT companies and Swiss businesses.

At the roadshow, 18 IT companies from Nepal provided information about their services, expertise, and technology solutions through one-minute company pitches.

The work and achievements of Nepali companies in areas such as AI, cybersecurity, product development, IT services, BPO, custom web and application development, cloud infrastructure, and data engineering were also discussed.

At the event, opportunities for potential business collaboration, partnerships, investment, and international market expansion were discussed.

NAS-IT has been organizing tech roadshows in various countries with the objective of promoting the Nepali technology industry internationally and expanding relations with the global market. The roadshow held in Switzerland was also organized as an effort to connect Nepali IT companies with international business, investment, and collaboration opportunities.

The roadshow was organized with the support of partners and stakeholders, including the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), while the Swiss Nepal Chamber of Commerce served as a co-organizer.
