IME Life Insurance donates 1 crore for flood victims

IME Life Insurance Company Limited has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic incident of significant human and material losses in the riverine areas of Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha, and Chitwan, among others, caused by the devastating flood in the Bhote Koshi River in Rasuwa on September 10.
In this difficult situation, where hundreds of citizens have lost their lives prematurely due to severe floods and inundation, many are missing, and hundreds of families have been displaced with settlements and infrastructure destroyed, the company has expressed heartfelt sympathy to the affected citizens.
Demonstrating solidarity with the efforts being made by the Government of Nepal, security agencies, and local organizations for the immediate rescue, relief, and long-term rehabilitation of citizens affected by the disaster, IME Life Insurance Company Limited has announced a financial contribution of Rs. 1 crore (one crore rupees) to the ‘Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund’ under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
Since its establishment, the company has been at the forefront in providing assistance during various crises, natural disasters, and epidemics faced by the nation.

It is believed that this financial assistance provided by the company in the current challenging situation will further aid in the search, rescue, food, medical treatment, and rehabilitation efforts for the flood-affected.
IME Life Insurance Company Limited expresses heartfelt condolences to the citizens who lost their lives in the flood during this tragic time and extends deep sympathy to the bereaved families.
