MAXUS Nepal, under Himalaya Organization, in coordination with SAIC MAXUS Automotive Co., Ltd. China, has decided to provide a total of NPR 7,000,000 (Seventy Lakh Rupees) aid, expressing solidarity with the Government of Nepal, with the objective of supporting relief and rehabilitation for families and communities affected by the devastating floods that hit Nepal on Bhadra 10.
Out of the announced amount, NPR 5,000,000 (Fifty Lakh Rupees) is planned to be transferred to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund, which will support relief, rescue, rehabilitation, and reconstruction efforts conducted through the Government of Nepal. The remaining NPR 2,000,000 (Twenty Lakh Rupees) worth of essential relief materials are planned to be purchased and distributed in the flood-affected areas in coordination with social organizations and local governments of those areas.
These relief materials will be distributed after identifying the areas most affected by the disaster and in immediate need of assistance.
For this type of direct relief distribution, MAXUS Nepal will identify and provide prioritized areas and items in coordination with relevant bodies and stakeholders. The nature of relief materials, distribution areas, distribution process, and implementation timeline are currently in the process of discussion and coordination with the relevant parties.

Similarly, the date for transferring the aid amount to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund and detailed information regarding the distribution of relief materials will be separately announced once the necessary coordination and preparations are complete.
