Jagdamba Motors Inaugurates 11th Proton Showroom in Birgunj, Launches ‘e.MAS 5’ EV

Jagdamba Motors Pvt. Ltd., the official distributor of Proton vehicles for Nepal, has opened its new official showroom in Birgunj, a major commercial city in Madhesh Province.
On the occasion of the showroom’s inauguration, the company also formally launched the brand’s second electric vehicle (EV), ‘The All-New Proton e.MAS 5’ (Proton e.MAS 5).
With the addition of the new outlet on Birgunj’s Bypass Road, the number of official Proton showrooms across Nepal has reached 11. The company plans to expand its 12th showroom in Birtamod, Eastern Nepal, before the upcoming Dashain festival.

This EV, which successfully won the title of ‘Electric Compact Vehicle of the Year 2026’ at the prestigious Allianz DSF Vehicle of the Year Awards 2026 held in Malaysia, includes modern technology and practical features:

Storage Capacity: 70-liter front frunk, rear luggage space expandable up to 375 liters, and 32 internal storage compartments.

On the occasion of its regional launch, Jagdamba Motors has set special introductory prices for two variants of the e.MAS 5:

Regional Expansion and Test Drive Facility
Following Bhaktapur and Dhangadhi, this regional campaign reached Birgunj, and its inauguration ceremony saw a strong presence of Birgunj Metropolitan City’s Acting Mayor Mr. Imtiyaz Alam, senior auto journalists, and local entrepreneurs.
