Nepal Life’s ‘Business Excellence Conference’ Concludes, Over 13 Billion in First Premium Income Collected

The two-day Business Excellence Conference of Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited, Nepal’s most reliable life insurance company, has concluded. The conference, held at Hotel Yak & Yeti, Kathmandu, from Bhadra 1 to 2, 2083, concluded with the slogan “Lead, Aspire, Evolve”.
The conference saw the participation of more than 250+ employees working in sales and marketing from across the country. By lighting the traditional oil lamp, the company’s two senior directors, Kamalesh Kumar Agrawal, Bimal Prasad Dhakal, Mr. Prabin Prakash Chhetri, and the company’s Chief Executive Officer Praveen Raman Parajuli, jointly inaugurated the conference.
Addressing the program, the company’s senior director Kamalesh Kumar Agrawal stated that Nepal Life, by completing its 25 glorious years of journey, has created a unique history of trust, stability, and leadership in the Nepali life insurance industry.
He mentioned that the company, in the fiscal year 2082/83, by collecting more than 13 billion rupees in first premium income (First Premium Income – FPI), has set another historical record.
He thanked all stakeholders associated with the company for this achievement and urged them to continue working with the same enthusiasm, dedication, and commitment in the days to come. Furthermore, expressing the sentiment “Today we are at a high peak, but to continuously maintain this height, everyone’s collective effort, hard work, and support are necessary,” he emphasized the need to always set high goals and move forward unitedly.
Addressing the conference, the company’s Chief Executive Officer Praveen Raman Parajuli thanked all employees for their performance in the fiscal year 2082/83 and called upon them to work with increased activity, discipline, and commitment from the beginning to achieve the business goals of the current fiscal year 2083/84.
He reviewed the business achievements of the last fiscal year and informed the conference about the sales and strategic plans for the current fiscal year 2083/84. He stated, “The height we have achieved today is the result of our collective hard work, dedication, and cooperation.

Reaching this height alone is not enough; to continuously maintain the achievements and move towards new heights, everyone’s united effort, mutual cooperation, and continuous commitment are necessary,” he expressed this sentiment.
At the conference, the company’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO), National Sales Head, Business Operations, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Agency and Policy Servicing, Agency Training, Information Technology (IT), and Heads of Digital Transformation and Human Resources (HR) departments presented detailed reports and presentations on their respective department’s performance, achievements, challenges, and future action plans.
During the presentations, reviewing the progress of the last fiscal year, information was also provided regarding the current fiscal year’s business goals, strategic priorities, service improvement, digital transformation, workforce development, and the direction to be adopted to achieve the goals.
Also, at the end of the conference, certificates were distributed to participants by the company’s Chief Executive Officer Mr. Praveen Raman Parajuli, Deputy Chief Executive Officer Amit Kumar Kayal, National Sales Head Umapati Pokharel, and from HR.
Furthermore, in the fiscal year 2082/83, employees and branches/sub-branches that performed excellently were given honors and awards in 14 different categories.
