Kamana Sewa Development Bank Limited has provided financial assistance of NPR 2.5 million with the aim of supporting relief, rescue, and rehabilitation efforts for citizens affected by the flood that occurred on August 27 in Rasuwa’s Bhotekoshi River.
According to the decision of the bank’s Board of Directors, a total of NPR 2.5 million has been decided to be contributed, including NPR 1 million under the bank’s corporate social responsibility and NPR 1.5 million from one day’s salary of the bank’s employees. The bank stated that the said amount has been deposited in the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.
The bank believes that this assistance will help address the immediate needs of families and communities affected by the natural disaster and provide further support for relief and rescue operations. The bank has been continuously providing support to various disaster-affected communities, humanitarian aid, and social welfare sectors under its corporate social responsibility.

The bank extended heartfelt condolences to all who lost their lives due to the flood and natural disaster, expressed deep sympathy to the bereaved families, and wished a speedy recovery for the injured. It also extended good wishes for the safe and easy living of all affected citizens.
