Auto Show coordinator Anupkumar Baral claims NAIMA Auto Show is a copy of NADA. The 18th NADA Auto Show 2026 is being organized at Bhrikutimandap from Bhadra 9 to 14 on the occasion of its 50th anniversary.
Anupkumar Baral, NADA Auto Show coordinator under NADA Automobile Association of Nepal (NADA), has claimed that the NAIMA Auto Show is a copy of theirs.
NADA stated that since they are organizing the 18th show, their event is original. ‘If someone organizes an auto show in between, it cannot be stopped. But NADA is working in its own flow. NADA Auto Show is genuine, NAIMA Auto Show is a copy of NADA,’ he said.
He pointed out that since NADA is an organization spread across the country, with branches in all seven provinces and 2,800 members nationwide, there is no need to compare it with any other organization.

Companies under NADA claimed a 22 to 25 percent contribution to Nepal’s economy and revenue, stating that they provide direct employment to one hundred thousand people.
‘NADA Auto Show 2026’ is being organized from Bhadra 9 to 14 at Bhrikutimandap Exhibition Hall in Kathmandu. In a press conference held on Monday to provide information about the auto show’s preparations, Baral informed that preparations are underway at full swing.
On the occasion of NADA’s 50th anniversary, this year’s auto show is being organized as a ‘Golden Jubilee Edition’.
Previously, the Nepal Automobile Importers and Manufacturers Association (NAIMA) had concluded the second edition of the 6-day ‘NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026’.
