August 9, Kathmandu.
Preparations for Naima Mobility Expo 2026 have reached the final stage. The organizers have informed that the work of constructing and managing stalls for various participating brands is progressing rapidly.
According to the organizers, with only two days remaining until the expo begins, most of the preparations have reached the final stage.
Nirakar Shrestha, a member of the Naima Expo Preparation Committee, stated in a conversation with ICT Frame Magazine that work, including stall construction, is progressing rapidly from the management side and on behalf of various exhibitors.
He said, ‘Preparations are now in full swing. All work to be done by the management is underway, and exhibitors are also rapidly preparing their respective stalls. Looking at the current preparations and progress, we hope that all stalls will be ready ahead of time to fully welcome visitors.’
According to Shrestha, about 50 to 60 percent of the work on the stalls to be set up at the expo has been completed so far. He stated that since there are still two days left for the expo to begin, the remaining work will also be completed within the stipulated time.
‘Looking at the current situation, approximately 50 to 60 percent of the stalls appear to be complete. We still have two days. Since the auto show date is yet to come, all work will be completed and ready within the timeframe,’ Shrestha said.
The organizers have informed that special attention has been given to parking management this time for the convenience of visitors to the expo. Shrestha stated that in addition to organizing the parking available at the Bhrikutimandap premises, the underground parking area of the Nepal Police Club, located across from the Bhrikutimandap Exhibition Area, will also be utilized.
‘We have made many improvements in parking compared to before. Additionally, we have also acquired the underground parking area of the Nepal Police Club, across from the Bhrikutimandap Exhibition Area. Therefore, you will find that parking has improved much more than before,’ he said.

The organizers have stated that new models of cars and motorcycles will be the main attraction of this year’s expo. Vehicles from 55 different brands will be displayed at the Naima Mobility Expo 2026. Among them, about 40 new models will be unveiled and launched, Shrestha said.
Targeting visitors, the organizers have also arranged for digital tickets. Shrestha stated that with digital tickets, arrangements have been made to get up to 50 percent cashback.
In addition, various food courts and beverage experiences have been arranged at the expo. The organizers state that they are trying to create a family-friendly atmosphere where visitors can enjoy food, drink, and entertainment alongside viewing vehicles.
This is the second edition of the Naima Mobility Expo. Shrestha stated that building on the success of last year’s first edition, more new models and brands have been included this time.
Along with the exhibition of vehicles and the launching of new models, programs for exchanging information and knowledge related to the automobile industry will also be organized at the expo. The organizers expect that such programs will attract students, automobile enthusiasts, and various stakeholders in the industry.
The organizers have informed that more than 100,000 visitors attended the expo last year. Shrestha stated that this time, the target is to attract more visitors than last year.
According to the organizers, the launching of new model vehicles, participation of various brands, cashback on digital tickets, food courts, and knowledge exchange programs related to the industry will be the main attractions of this year’s expo.
As the work of stall construction and management has reached its final stage, the organizers are confident that the expo will be fully ready for operation on schedule.
