Rabi Lamichhane, Chairman of the National Independent Party (RASWAPA), stated that the state should always respect taxpayers who pay the most tax.
Lamichhane, participating as the chief guest at the 22nd Annual General Meeting of the Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs’ Forum, stated that entrepreneurs and businessmen are contributing to the state through taxes, and therefore an environment should be created to encourage and respect them.
Referring to the context where questions are being raised that the government has not been able to achieve anything in just four months, Lamichhane claimed that the government is working slowly. Stating that the government is moving forward to achieve even better results, he said that these results will be visible in the coming days.

Stating that the government will fulfill its promises, Lamichhane said that if the government deviates from its path, they have the political power to monitor and caution it. He stated that they have the ability to ‘correct’ it if the government takes the wrong path.
Claiming that the government is youth-focused, Lamichhane urged the youth to confidently move forward to do something within the country. He stated that the government is focused on creating an environment for entrepreneurship, business, and employment within the country, rather than the compulsion to go abroad.
