Ncell has announced that it will provide free voice and data services for three days in areas affected by the sudden devastating floods that occurred on Wednesday morning in Rasuwa district. In addition, it has stated that it will also provide 100 SMS messages, valid for three days, free of charge to the general public in the affected areas.
This is expected to help residents of flood-affected areas and the general public there to easily stay in contact with each other.

As maintaining communication services is important, this initiative by Ncell is expected to make it easier for the affected people to connect with family and rescue teams.
Stating that Ncell has historically played an active role during disasters and has been assisting in emergency search, rescue, and relief distribution efforts, the company stated that this decision was made to ensure communication services during emergencies.
