A special team of the Nepali Army has been deployed for search, rescue, and emergency health treatment in the flood-affected areas of Rasuwa.
Two Nepali Army helicopters, including an MI-17, along with a 14-member medical team, have departed from Kathmandu for Rasuwa. The team has been dispatched to provide immediate relief and health services to affected citizens amidst flood risks and warnings.

For now, the team plans to provide rescue and health-related services in the flood-affected areas by establishing the army barracks in Trishuli, Nuwakot, as its main base. Considering the challenging terrain and the risk of disaster, the army is preparing for primary treatment of the injured and their transfer for further medical care.
Local administration, the army, and other concerned bodies are fully active and engaged in the field with coordination to ensure the safe rescue of citizens trapped in flood-affected areas and to provide immediate emergency assistance.
