Government of Nepal Approves Software Development and Operation Committee Formation Order 2083, School Employees’ Salaries Also Increased

Software Development and Operation Committee Formation Order 2083 has been approved.
Government spokesperson Sasmit Pokharel informed that the cabinet meeting held on Wednesday decided to approve the Software Development and Operation Committee Formation Order 2083.
He said, ‘The Software Development and Operation Committee Formation Order 2083 has been approved by the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.’
The meeting also decided to increase the remuneration of early childhood development facilitators, school staff, and school assistants.
He said, ‘According to the proposal of the Ministry of Education and Sports, it has been decided to increase the remuneration grant currently provided by the federal government for early childhood development facilitators, school staff, and school assistants by Rs 5,000 per month.’

Under the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, approval has been given to conclude a bilateral air service agreement between the Government of Nepal and Saudi Arabia.
Similarly, it has also been decided to maintain the salaries of teachers working in the teaching support grant quota at the secondary level (grades 9-10) and basic level (grades 6-8) equal to the third-class secondary and third-class lower secondary salaries respectively.
According to him, on the proposal of the Ministry of Finance, it has been decided to accept grant assistance of approximately 2.73 billion Japanese Yen from the Government of Japan for the air traffic control improvement project at Tribhuvan International Airport.
Likewise, he informed that a decision has been made under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to grant approval for establishing a sub-center branch of the Asian Disaster Preparedness Center in Nepal.
On the proposal of the Ministry of Home Affairs, it has also been decided to approve the participation of a delegation led by the Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs in the 14th meeting of the Joint Working Group on Border Management, which will be held in India on Bhadra 4 and 5, 2083.
