Nepal Telecom GSM Postpaid Online Ownership Transfer: Now fill details from home [Complete Process]
29 Saun, Kathmandu.
Nepal Telecom’s GSM postpaid mobile customers can now fill in all the necessary details for ownership transfer online.
To transfer a postpaid SIM card registered in one person’s name to another person’s name, customers will only need to visit the nearest telecom office for final payment of the ownership transfer fee and necessary verification, after filling in all required details.
Accordingly, customers can fill in the required details through the Customer Login Portal . After logging into the portal and entering the mobile number, an OTP will be received, and then the personal details of the current customer and the new customer to whom the ownership is to be transferred must be provided.
In addition, 5 mobile numbers called within the last one month must also be provided.

After filling in all the details, contact the nearest Nepal Telecom office or customer service center for verification. The final verification for ownership transfer can be done by the individual themselves or through a representative, by paying the required fee and presenting the original citizenship card.
This will make it easier to transfer postpaid SIM ownership by first filling in the necessary details online. As customers who cannot be present at the office can also complete the final verification through a representative, the ownership transfer process is expected to become even smoother.
Currently, the online ownership transfer facility is only available for individual customers. Corporate customers will still need to visit the office for ownership transfer.
