Pioneer Moto Corp Pvt. Ltd., the official distributor of Nissan vehicles in Nepal, has announced the launch of the new Nissan TEKTON in Nepal through the NAIMA Mobility Expo 2026. TEKTON’s Nepal debut will take place on August 11, 2026, at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu.
Following its global premiere in Mumbai, India, on July 9, 2026, Nissan’s new premium SUV TEKTON has arrived as a significant model to further expand Nissan’s presence in the South Asian market. Designed to combine an impressive presence, premium comfort, modern connectivity, and confident performance, TEKTON will present Nissan’s rich SUV DNA in a new form to Nepali customers.
Clearly inspired by the iconic Nissan Patrol, the new TEKTON continues Nissan’s 75-year-long SUV heritage. With its bold and muscular design, attractive body lines, Upright Stance, Signature C-shaped LED Lighting, and Horizontal Front Detailing, TEKTON has been designed to stand out on city streets as well as mountain highways.
- The new TEKTON is based on the ‘Designed to Disrupt’ concept. Inspired by Nissan’s flagship SUV, TEKTON presents Nissan’s 75-year-long SUV heritage in a new form.
- Available in Turbo T160 and Turbo T280 options, TEKTON delivers a maximum of 163 PS power and 280 Nm torque. The Turbo T280 features a 6-speed Wet-Clutch DCT with an E-shifter, providing a smooth and confident driving experience.
- Visitors will be able to experience TEKTON directly at the NAIMA Mobility Expo 2026, held from August 11 to 16, 2026, at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu.
The interior of the new Nissan TEKTON features a Tek-Link HD Infotainment System, offering modern connectivity features such as Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Additionally, an Electronic Parking Brake (DCT), Cruise Control, Rear-View Camera, E-shifter, and premium interior finishes further enhance comfort and convenience.

TEKTON features safety and convenience technologies including a large Boot Space of up to 700 liters, 6 Airbags, and a 360-degree Camera. Additionally, Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) features such as Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, and Blind Spot Warning aim to provide a safer and more confident driving experience.
Regarding the powertrain, the Nissan TEKTON will be available in Turbo T160 and Turbo T280 options. It provides a maximum of 163 PS power and 280 Nm torque. Specifically, the Turbo T280 variant features a 6-speed Wet-Clutch DCT and an E-shifter, which provides smooth gear changes, excellent control, and a confident driving experience.
