1 Bhadra, Kathmandu.

Proton’s two electric vehicles created a stir at the Naima Nepal Mobility Expo, gaining popularity alongside customer attraction.

At the ‘Naima Nepal Mobility Expo 2026′ held at Bhrikutimandap, Proton’s electric SUVs extensively attracted customers’ attention.

Visitors showed special interest in the newly launched new e.MAS 5, as well as the e.MAS 7 which was launched last year, both displayed at stall ‘L-6’ in Hall ‘B’ of the expo.

Customer presence increased at Proton’s stall to view the vehicles, understand their features, and inquire about prices, ownership, and booking options.

The compact electric SUV ‘Proton e.MAS 5′, built for modern urban lifestyles, attracted visitors’ attention due to its rear-wheel-drive platform, smart storage facility for luggage management, 14.6-inch Full-HD display unit, 375 liters of boot space, Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology to power external electrical devices, and G-Traction Control System.

With its compact design and useful features, the Proton e.MAS 5 is a suitable vehicle for daily use on Nepal’s urban roads. Proton e.MAS 5 is available in two variants, ‘Prime’ and ‘Premium’, priced at Rs. 32.99 Lakh and Rs. 36.99 Lakh respectively, the company stated.

Similarly, the ‘Proton e.MAS 7’ offers customers an excellent full-size SUV experience. With spacious room, outstanding performance, and long-range capabilities, it is also an excellent option for those who travel long distances.

Its ‘Prime’ variant features a 160 kW electric motor and a 49.52 kWh LFP battery, providing an approximate WLTP range of 345 km.

It includes ADAS technology and a 15.4-inch display, making it suitable for daily short-distance travels as well as long-distance journeys from one city to another.

Addressing the growing interest in electric vehicles in Nepal, both of these Proton vehicles offer options suited to the lifestyle of Nepali customers.

Proton e.MAS 5 is an excellent option for a compact and practical urban SUV, while Proton e.MAS 7 is an excellent option for a full-size electric SUV suitable for family use and long-distance travel.

Jagadamba Motors had invited customers to come to the expo, held from Saun 26 to 31, to directly experience both vehicles, understand their features, and get more information about booking options from the Proton team.

Likewise, Jagadamba Motors and the entire Proton team extend their heartfelt gratitude to all customers and visitors who attended Proton’s stall at the Naima Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 and expressed confidence in Proton.

The company stated that the ‘Redefining Your Experience with Proton e.MAS’ campaign will continue, with a commitment to providing customers with an even better experience on their journey with Proton.
