The Nepali Army has continued search, rescue, and relief operations in various areas affected by the Bhotekoshi flood and disaster.
According to the Nepali Army, by 6 PM on Sunday, 4,220 people were rescued from various affected areas via air transport. Among those rescued, 3,937 were Nepali citizens and 283 were foreign nationals.
13 bodies found in Audit-3 Tunnel of the Upper Trishuli-1 Project have been brought to Trishuli by helicopter. The Nepali Army has stated that search operations are ongoing in the tunnel. A joint team, including project representatives, is conducting search operations in the tunnel and powerhouse area of the Trishuli-3A Project.
Similarly, a joint team including the Nepali Army has reported that despite excavating the powerhouse area of the Trishuli-3B Project using three excavators and loaders, nothing has been found so far. Search operations continue in that area.
In affected areas across the Trishuli river in Rasuwa and Nuwakot, including Colony, Tupche, Dansing, Samari Bhanjyang, Kalikasthan, Manchet, the Nepali Army has established bases and is conducting search operations through foot patrols. Reconnaissance of narrow tunnels, search and assessment of affected areas, and delivery of relief materials via drones are ongoing in remote areas cut off from road access.
Through Nepali Army drones, a total of 31,091 kilograms of relief and essential materials have been delivered to various areas in Nuwakot and Rasuwa so far.

More than 8,700 Nepali Army personnel are directly deployed in affected areas from Timure in Rasuwa to Nuwakot, Dhading, Chitwan, and Nawalparasi East and West. They are coordinately engaged in search and rescue, assisting with body management, delivering relief materials, reopening blocked roads and bridges, and providing emergency medical treatment.
The Nepali Army is also assisting flood-affected families with religious rituals, tributes, and emotional support, as well as distributing relief and transporting essential project equipment.
Meanwhile, seven people received health services on Ashoj 4 from the emergency treatment centers and medical patrols established by the Nepali Army in Trishuli and Dhunche. A total of 4,003 people have received health services from these centers so far.
For the installation of a bridge over the Betrawati River, parts and materials for an Acrow bridge were transported from Shree No. 28 Brigade Headquarters, Bara, and delivered to Trishuli, Nuwakot, on Ashoj 4.
For this purpose, six dump trucks, one crane truck, one excavator, and two low-bed trucks were used. The Nepali Army has stated that the design for the Bailey bridge construction in Betrawati has been completed, and foundation work has also commenced.
