Gauri Kumari Yadav, Minister of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, has resigned.
Minister Yadav’s secretariat informed that she submitted her resignation to Prime Minister Balendra Shah on Thursday.

On Wednesday, Minister Yadav had made a controversial statement in a parliamentary committee that gas industrialists should be strictly dealt with. She had even stated that the licenses of all 58 currently operating gas industries should be revoked.
