MPIA’s 3.1 Million Aid for Bhote Koshi Flood and Landslide Victims
25 Bhadra, Kathmandu.
Mobile Phone Importers Association (MPIA) has provided financial assistance of 3.1 million rupees with the objective of supporting the relief, rescue, and rehabilitation efforts for citizens affected by the devastating flood and landslide that occurred in the Bhote Koshi River in Rasuwa on Bhadra 10, 2083.
MPIA collected the said amount from its member organizations. The collected 3.1 million rupees was handed over to the Honorable Finance Minister of the Government of Nepal on Bhadra 24.
The aid amount was handed over to be deposited into the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund. MPIA expressed confidence that this will provide some assistance in the relief and rescue efforts for citizens who have suffered significant damage to their homes, property, and daily lives due to the disaster.

MPIA Chairman Deepak Kumar Malhotra, Vice Chairman Sanjay Agrawal, and Board Members handed over the said aid amount to the Finance Minister.
Handing over the aid amount, MPIA Chairman Deepak Kumar Malhotra stated that it is everyone’s shared responsibility to stand with the affected citizens during this difficult time of disaster.
He mentioned that the goodwill and support shown by the member organizations with the aim of assisting citizens in distress due to the disaster are commendable, and he thanked all member organizations.
