Xiaomi Nepal has provided financial assistance of NPR 2 million for the relief, rescue, and rehabilitation of citizens affected by the devastating flood and landslide that occurred in Rasuwa’s Bhotekoshi River on Bhadra 10, 2083.
Xiaomi Nepal provided the amount with the objective of offering immediate relief and assistance to citizens affected by the disaster, with the funds being deposited into the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.
Due to the flood and landslide, significant loss of life and property has occurred in various areas, affecting many families. Stating that it is everyone’s shared responsibility to stand with the affected citizens in such a difficult situation, Xiaomi Nepal announced that it provided the amount as humanitarian aid.
The assistance amount was handed over to the Finance Minister by Sanjay Agrawal, Executive Director of Ramesh Corp; Nitesh Kumar Madra, Director of Vatsal Impex; and Dinesh Rai, Head of Sales and Distribution at Xiaomi Nepal.

On that occasion, expressing sympathy to the families and communities affected by the disaster, a commitment was made to support the ongoing government efforts for relief, rescue, and rehabilitation.
Xiaomi Nepal stated its responsibility in being able to assist the affected citizens during this difficult time of disaster, expressing confidence that this aid will contribute to relief and rescue operations.
With the spirit of “Together with Nepal, for Nepal,” Xiaomi Nepal has been supporting the Nepali community through its joys and sorrows, and has pledged to continue contributing to necessary assistance and social responsibility activities in the coming days.
