Due to the devastating flood in the Bhote Koshi region, and after extensive damage to roads and transport routes, a challenge has arisen in delivering relief and health services to the affected areas of Rasuwa and Nuwakot. At a time when the need for health services is increasing in communities affected by the disaster, Nepal Mediciti has provided medicine assistance.
A joint team of Nepal Mediciti, Nepal Mediciti Lions Club, and Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) reached Trishuli Hospital, Nuwakot, amidst challenging circumstances and handed over medicines according to the hospital’s needs.
The team, led by Nepal Mediciti’s Chief Executive Officer Dr. Amit Tomar, included Directors Kriti Mahato, Yukti Mahato, Medical Superintendent Dr. Raj Rana, representatives from Nepal Mediciti Lions Club and NRNA, doctors, and nurses.

Nepal Mediciti stated that providing necessary medicines to health institutions in areas affected by floods and disaster is part of its social responsibility. The hospital emphasized prioritizing efforts to expand access to health services during times of disaster and collaborating with affected communities and health institutions.
Nepal Mediciti stated that it has been operating various social responsibility programs in line with its objective of delivering health services not just within the hospital’s limits but also to the community level when needed.
Nepal Mediciti also expressed its commitment to continue cooperation in providing necessary assistance to health institutions during difficult times of disaster and delivering health services to affected communities.
