NAIMA Donates 5 Million Rupees for Rasuwa Flood Victims

The Nepal Automobile Importers and Manufacturers Association (NAIMA) has provided 5 million rupees in assistance for the relief, rescue, and rehabilitation of the community affected by the flood in Rasuwa.
NAIMA handed over the amount to Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle as per its prior decision. A team led by NAIMA President Ritu Singh Baidya handed over the assistance amount.
During the assistance handover program, NAIMA board members Yamuna Shrestha and Hemant Golchha, Saimech Inc.’s Chief Executive Officer Sahil Shrestha, NAIMA’s Executive Director Rajkumar Dulal, Program Coordinator Gyanu Adhikari, and Utsav Karki from NAIMA’s digital agency Digipack were present.

Handing over the assistance, President Baidya stated that although the amount is comparatively small, its main objective is to express solidarity and support towards the affected community during times of disaster.
She mentioned that the assistance was provided on behalf of Nepal’s automobile importers and manufacturers, including NAIMA member companies, and pledged to stand with the government and affected communities during times of crisis and disaster.
‘This is not just financial assistance, but also a message of solidarity that we are with the affected communities during difficult times,’ Baidya said. Receiving the assistance, Finance Minister Dr. Wagle praised the support provided by NAIMA. He stated that such assistance received during a sensitive and difficult disaster situation is extremely valuable.
