The Board of Directors of Shangrila Development Bank Limited has appointed Rabin Sijapati as the bank’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Following the completion of the tenure of outgoing CEO Suyog Shrestha, the bank has entrusted Sijapati with the managerial leadership for a four-year term.
Newly appointed CEO Sijapati is an expert with extensive experience in the banking and financial sector. A Chartered Accountant (CA) by profession, he has previously held senior executive positions at Nepal Investment Mega Bank (NIMB).
His expertise in financial governance, risk management, and corporate banking is expected to contribute to Shangrila Development Bank’s future strategy and business expansion, the bank believes.
“We are delighted to welcome Mr. Rabin Sijapati as the new Chief Executive Officer,” stated the bank’s Board of Directors. “His professional knowledge, banking sector experience, and Chartered Accountancy background will enable the institution to achieve further financial progress, digital transformation, and strong institutional governance.”

During his four-year tenure, CEO Sijapati aims to strengthen the bank’s loan quality, make digital banking services technology-friendly and accessible, and expand business safely within the Nepal Rastra Bank’s policies and regulations.
Additionally, the bank’s Board of Directors has extended heartfelt gratitude to the outgoing CEO Mr. Suyog Shrestha, who completed his successful tenure, for his contributions to the bank’s development and stability.
