A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Agricultural Development Bank Limited (ADBL) and Grande International Hospital (GIH) located in Tokha, Kathmandu, regarding the provision of special discounts and facilities in health and banking services to their respective employees, doctors, and family members.
Deputy General Manager Sushil Humagain signed the MoU on behalf of Agricultural Development Bank, and Chief Operating Officer (COO) Colonel Amrit Khanna signed on behalf of Grande International Hospital.
Department Head Bina Sharma, Senior Branch Manager Dhurba Paudel, and Business Officer Maniraj Dhungana from the bank, along with Assistant General Manager Archana Pradhan, Senior Officer Maulika Deuja, and Officer Madhav Sharma from Grande International Hospital, were also present at the program.
The agreement further strengthens the institutional cooperation between the two organizations, prioritizing employee welfare, service delivery, and customer convenience. Furthermore, the collaboration between these two reputable institutions in the health and banking sectors is expected to lay the groundwork for service exchange, expansion of institutional relations, and long-term business partnerships.
Special Discounts and Facilities in Health Services
As per the agreement, Grande International Hospital will provide special discounts on medical treatment, various tests (lab, X-ray, video X-ray, etc.), bed charges, surgeries, and wellness packages provided by the hospital to current and former employees of Agricultural Development Bank and their dependent family members.

Additionally, priority and concessions will be provided for tele-consultation, emergency rescue services (road and heli services), and health awareness programs for employees. This is expected to provide easy access to quality health services for the bank’s current and former employees and their dependent family members, as well as contribute to employee welfare.
Special Discounts and Facilities in Banking Services
Similarly, the bank has arranged special discounts on various banking services for doctors, nurses, paramedics, and all employees of Grande International Hospital. Hospital employees will be able to receive special discounts on service charges and premium rates for digital banking, debit/credit cards, locker facilities, and various types of loans—including home loans, auto loans, and education loans—from any branch of the bank. Additionally, special concessions will be available for foreign currency exchange and remittance services.
Through this collaboration, Grande International Hospital employees will gain easy access to Agricultural Development Bank’s various financial services, and the bank is expected to benefit from expanding its relationship with institutional clients and increasing the reach of its financial services. Overall, the agreement is believed to directly benefit employees of both institutions, promote mutual services, and further strengthen business relationships.
Employees of both institutions will be able to avail the special discounts and facilities as per the agreement by presenting their official identity card from their respective organizations.
