Nepal Chamber of Commerce has honored Rajesh Kaji Shrestha, the Chairman of its Advisory Council, Chairman of the Diamond Jubilee Committee, and former President, with a letter of appreciation.
The Chamber honored Shrestha, who also serves as the Honorary Consul General of Vietnam for Nepal, in appreciation of his achievement after the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam awarded him the prestigious ‘Outstanding Award’.
At the program, Kamlesh Kumar Agarwal, President of Nepal Chamber of Commerce, stated that Shrestha’s remarkable achievement made the entire Chamber family feel proud. He mentioned that Shrestha played a significant role as a bridge to strengthen and elevate the commercial, tourism, and cultural relations between Nepal and Vietnam to new heights.
President Agarwal stated that Shrestha’s contribution to providing necessary facilitation to Vietnamese citizens and businesspersons in Nepal, as well as enhancing mutual cooperation between the two countries, is commendable. He also mentioned that Shrestha’s diplomatic skill and activeness have raised the stature of the Chamber.

While accepting the honor, former President Shrestha expressed happiness that the Nepal Chamber of Commerce recognized his achievement and conferred the honor. He informed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam, highly appreciating his contribution, awarded him that prestigious honor under ‘Contribution to Vietnam’s Foreign Service’.
He stated that this honor, awarded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam by placing him at the forefront among Honorary Consuls, gave him additional energy to remain continuously active in making the cooperation between Nepal and Vietnam more effective, stronger, and results-oriented.
He emphasized that the Nepal Chamber of Commerce should also pay special attention to expanding commercial relations and investment opportunities between Nepal and Vietnam.
