Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle to Discuss with Representatives of 20 Major Multinational Companies in Nepal
August 10, Kathmandu.
Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle is holding discussions today with the directors of multinational companies that have invested in Nepal.
He is scheduled to hold discussions with 20 major taxpayer multinational companies that have invested in Nepal, as part of the budget implementation discussion series for the fiscal year 2083/84. High-ranking foreign and domestic partners of these companies have been invited to the ministry for the discussion.
During the discussion, Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle will urge multinational companies to openly express their views and submit details in writing regarding the facilities provided by the budget, the problems they are facing, and the facilitation the government needs to provide for investment expansion, job creation, and repatriation of profits in Nepal.

Under the same series, Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle has already held discussions with 33 industrial houses that have created significant employment by operating productive industries in Nepal and contributed to the economy.
Similarly, he has also held discussions with the Chief Executive Officers of ‘A’ class commercial banks in Nepal and the Executive Directors of Nepal Rastra Bank.
