Lumbini Bikas Bank Limited Donates NPR 2,500,000 to Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund
September 13, Kathmandu.
Lumbini Bikas Bank Limited has announced that under its social responsibility, with the objective of assisting in the relief and rescue efforts for citizens affected by recent floods, landslides, and natural disasters in various parts of the country, it has contributed NPR 2,500,000 (in words, Rupees Twenty-Five Lakh) to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.
Bank Chairman Mr. Chintamani Bhattarai, Chief Executive Officer Mr. Suman Acharya, and Deputy Chief Executive Mr. Umesh Regmi jointly handed over a check worth NPR 2.5 million to the Honorable Finance Minister of the Government of Nepal, Mr. Swarnim Wagle, on Bhadra 12, 2083 BS.
The bank is saddened by this difficult situation where natural disasters have caused significant loss of life and property in various places, affecting many citizens. The bank offers heartfelt condolences to all those who lost their lives in this calamity.
Furthermore, we express our deepest condolences to the bereaved families and wish a speedy recovery to the injured and affected citizens.
