Kamana Sewa Bank Hands Over Snakebite Treatment Equipment to Nepal Red Cross Society Damak
October 1, Kathmandu.
Kamana Sewa Development Bank Limited has provided a cardio monitor and suction machine, used for snakebite treatment, to the Nepal Red Cross Society located in Damak-7, under its corporate social responsibility.
The bank stated that the equipment, provided through its Damak branch, will be useful for emergency healthcare. The bank expects the equipment to especially assist in the treatment and health monitoring of patients in emergency conditions, including snakebites.
Khimlal Bhusal, Koshi Province Chief of the bank, handed over the cardio monitor and suction machine to Goma Devi Prasai Budhathoki, Chairperson of the Nepal Red Cross Society.

While receiving the equipment, Chairperson Budhathoki expressed gratitude to the bank, stating that the cardio monitor would be useful for monitoring the health condition of patients in critical condition due to snakebites, and the suction machine would be useful for emergency respiratory treatment.
Province Chief Bhusal stated that the bank was proud to be able to help make locally available health resources more effective, as healthcare is a basic need of the community. He added that the bank has been continuously providing support in the fields of education, health, and social services under its corporate social responsibility.
The bank expressed confidence that this assistance would provide ease to the citizens of the Damak area when emergency health treatment is needed. Bank employees and officials and members of the Nepal Red Cross Society participated in the program. The bank committed to continuing its support in humanitarian and social service sectors in the coming days.
