Mahalaxmi Development Bank Donates NPR 5.1 Million to Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund
September 4, Kathmandu.
Mahalaxmi Development Bank has donated NPR 5.1 million to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund with the objective of assisting in the relief, rescue, and rehabilitation efforts for citizens affected by the devastating flood that occurred in the Bhote Koshi-Trishuli river on 2083/05/10.
The fierce flood caused unimaginable and excessive loss of life and property in places including Rasuwagadhi, Timure, Syafru Bensi, Betrawati, Trishuli, and Devighat, in Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, and Chitwan districts.
To cope with this difficult situation, a total of NPR 5.1 million has been donated, which includes contributions from the bank and a day’s salary from its employees.

In this time of disaster, the bank extends heartfelt condolences to all brothers and sisters who lost their lives and expresses deep sympathy to all bereaved families. It also wishes a speedy recovery to the injured.
