Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has donated 10 million US dollars (1.5 billion rupees) to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund. Nvidia CEO Jensen donates 1.5 billion rupees to Nepal’s flood and landslide relief fund.
Jensen Huang, founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the world-renowned American technology company Nvidia (NVIDIA), has provided financial assistance of 10 million US dollars (approximately 1.5 billion rupees) to Nepal’s Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.
This assistance is considered one of the largest contributions received to date from any multinational company or individual for flood and landslide relief.

To be spent on rescue and reconstruction in affected areas
This amount will be spent in highly affected areas such as Rasuwa’s Bhotekoshi watershed area, Nuwakot, Dhading, and others, which have been severely impacted by floods and landslides. It has been stated that the received funds will be used for immediate rescue operations, rehabilitation of displaced persons, and reconstruction of damaged infrastructure.

Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle, through his official video message, confirmed this historic assistance and expressed heartfelt gratitude to Jensen Huang on behalf of the Government of Nepal.
With Nvidia’s assistance, Finance Minister Wagle informed that the total collected amount in the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund has exceeded 10 billion rupees. It is expected that Jensen’s generous donation will further inspire other international organizations and personalities to assist in times of crisis.
